I am purchasing a new compression app for the mac, and have been researching the differences between Compression Master and Sorenson Squeeze. From what I have found the biggest difference between the two seems to be the preprocessing features of CM outperform those of Squeeze. In what way? Would preprocessing in AE be a vialble, albeit somewhat annoying workflow?

CM has better and offers more control over its filters. CM also uses multiple threads when encoding, whereas Squeeze primarily only uses QT. This helps speed up encoding times greatly.
