  Preparing video for network broadcast

  Hello
  I run a small video production company and we were hired to do some “B-roll” footage for a client that is going to be distributed via newswire to all of North America. We are a small company that has only done training and promo videos until now. My question is: what do I need to include on te tape for broadcast distribution? I have heard that you need 1 minute of bars & tone, anything else? Or do I just put in the bars and tone and then launch right into the interview/b-roll footage from there?
