  • Preparing video for display – avoiding it as much as possible ?

How can we avoid the ‘Preparing video for display’ message ?

I’m editing a clip, and now, evering time I make a timeline change, I get the dreaded message for 5-10 or 15 seconds. Never that long, but on every single edit it adds up to long delays.

Any change I can make to my settings in order to avoid the message ?

    Again, thanks in advance.

p.s.: special thanks to Thax for your last previous answers, it’s helping me a lot!

You probably need more RAM, or you need to work in smaller sequences and marry them all in the end to a master sequence…
