  • Preparing FCP session for someone else…

Posted by Ralph Watson on July 1, 2010 at 2:12 pm

    Hi all,

We need to prep a Final Cut session in it’s entirety for someone else to take over. So, we need to somehow put the whole session, including edits, footage and settings onto a drive and send it to someone – for them to be able to open it up and get to work on it.

    What’s the best practice here?

Use Media Manager to copy the entire projects and media to a new project on the new drive.

    All the best,

    Tom

Make sure the new editors system is running the same version of Final Cut Studio and find out if he/she is equipped with the same input/output hardware.
