PremPro not seeing camera when ADVC110 is connected
Is this normal? My Canopus ADVC110 is connected to a firewire port of my computer, then when I add a second firewire cable from my computer directly to my camcorder (Canon ZR40) PremPro doesn’t recognize it. When I disconnect the firewire cable going into the ADVC110 then, voila, the camera is automatically recognized.
I know I could simply plug my camera into the ADVC110 but I don’t have a 4pin to 4 pin firewire cable.

Yes, this is normal. Premiere Pro will only recognize ONE DV deck at a time. If you want multiple inputs, use a program like ScLive
