Hi, I’m trying to make a movie and so far premire pro has been very hard to learn.

I’ve got the recording all ready and waiting and have imported it into premire pro, but from there on I have one effect I really want to use, but do not seem to be able to do it.

I want to take a section of a frame and zoom into it as the movie plays, so for example:

Zooming into the top left corner of the frame and making it full size on the screen and only letting the viewer see that corner as the movie continues to play. (hope that makes sense)

Any idea what I need to do? I do have after effects but I couldn’t do anything in after effects with even smaller knowledge of the program, but if you say I need to use after effects I will learn it.

    Thanks in advance,
    Stoned

If you succeed in what you are trying to do, the way you’re trying to do it, the image is going to be very badly pixelated as you will be scaling it up quite a bit. This answer may seem a bit trite, but the best way to accomplish what you’re trying to do is to shoot it that way in the first place. Do you have access to After Effects?
