I just made a small clip and the audio in preview is perfect but when I render the movie it has clicks and sounds bad. If I render only audio that sounds fine, so I had to use virtual dub to add the audio to the video, I tried various audio settings with no joy. I will later test this in 6.5 as I find most times 6.5 does so much better then 7 (or 1 as it is now). Some of the audio has a different sample rate is this causing the issue? I know I have had big problems before if fps is different on video clips or dropped frames are present. What really stinks is other video editors (some free) can handle different frame rates and dropped frames with out messing up the output video and taking hours to render. any way that is another issue.

Reduce the audio levels to -6db and see if it helps (via the Audio Mixer)
