PremierePro runs GPUSniffer.exe which goes crazy.
Premiere Pro CS4 slows to a crawl when I try and run it up because of the GPUSniffer processes it appears to run up. What is GPUSniffer and why is it going crazy and using 100% CPU?
I have a PCI Express NVidia 9600GT and a PCI Nvidia 6200. If I enable the 6200 so I can run another monitor then GPUSniffer uses 100% of the CPU when Premiere runs up. If I disable the 6200 and use only one monitor then Premiere runs up fine and GPUSniffer is nowhere to be seen. What gives?
I’m running Vista Ultimate 64bit?

I’ve also had this problem. No possibility to start Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 due to a “bug” with GPUSniffer.exe.
I’ve tried to find a solution and, at the end, found that the problem was related to eDimentional drivers (for stereoscopic view). When I’ve removed them, it was OK for Adobe Premiere. [But I didn’t check today if there are some updates to these eDimentional drivers]
Do you have the same drivers ?

what drivers are you refering too? I also am having this problem when ever I start pre pro it starts ok but when I try to do something it just locks up and I have to close it out. Is there any way to stop that sniffer? Any help?
