Premiere6-XML-Resolve time mapping problem
Hi there,
I am grading a music video shot on RED, edited natively in Premiere 6, very fast cuts, lots of time mapping and speed up/slow down effects. I tried sending the XML to Resolve and all of the information gets lost.
I am correct assuming XML does not carry this type of info?
Is there a better way to input the video into Resolve keeping the information added in the edit?
Any help is deeply appreciated.

Seems like the best answer, if you want to retain the editability of RED footage in Resolve, is to export an XML for an expanded timeline with all the speed ramping removed and then reappy it in Resolve or later back in Premiere. It’s some manual labor… but sometimes things like that need to get done.
