You have chosen an editing mode that has a specific frame size, which as you have discovered cannot be changed.

Choose the “Desktop” editing mode and you can specify the frame size you want.

    Cheers

    Hi eddie,
The `Desktop` format allows me to set the frame size only when I create the new sequence , but after it was created I can`t change frame size settings – it`s disabled. Is it possible at all to fiddle with a sequence`s frame size AFTER it was created ?
    Thanks

Unfortunately not, but what you can do is copy the clips on the old timeline and paste them into the new timeline. Very handy. 🙂

I find this a little frustrating. Not so much for video clips but for titles. I am so used to being able to manipulate titles in FCP, duplicate, new text, duplicate new text. Now I have to create a new title for every single piece of text. Which is interesting until you are trying to upres from 720 to 1080 and you can’t actually change the size of the text “files” you’ve created.

I can increase them to 200% or whatever but come on, let me resize the original Adobe. Really.

Yeah, I’m actually having a lot of trouble finding where to enable the “Desktop Editing” option as well. Any way someone could point out where this is really quick? Pretty please?

    Problems finding the desktop mode?

Under Sequence Preset you make a selection you like. Under the other tab ‘General’ you can select desktop mode under ‘Editing Mode:’

Than after editing in the od size i cant export in common formats like ‘H264’. Only in FLV i cant export the video in the od proportions. Is there a solution to export od sizes in H264?
