Ok, this is bound to be finger trouble but it really annoys me.

I have a given layout of premiere windows open with multiple bins. I highlight a bin I want to import into, import a file and then the bins disappears somewhere behind all the other windows I have open. I’m always muttering, “where did the bin go”.

Can anyone tell me how to stop Premiere CS5, 6 or CC changing window focus after you import.

Surely it can’t be a bug or feature 🙂

    Cheers

Editing is why people like movies. Because in the end, wouldn’t we all want to edit our own lives?

You need to nest the panel in a window instead of have it “float”.

The bin panel you’re referring to will go “behind” the interface once you choose any panel that is nested and connected to the larger interface layout.
