What is the best compression to export a video from Premiere to the web. I did .wmv 320 x 240 , but then the mac people will have a harder time viewing this.

Can someone suggest some settings for an mpeg so the quality is good and the file size is small. Which mpeg do I choose Mpeg-2 Generic????

    I have Premiere Pro 1.5.

WMV isn’t a problem for mac users at all – all they need is either Windows Media Player or the Flip4mac plugin for QuickTime. Both are free.

You certainly don;t want to go with MPEG-2 – that’s designed for DVD or broadcast, not the web.

You could look at MPEG-1 but it’s so very much out of date. Try MPEG-4 if you want to go with an open standard that has good support on both Mac and PC.

Maybe your best bet is to offer both.
