Premiere to Davinci Resolve workfow?

For the past 3 shorts I’ve been using After Effects via dynamic linking for all my CC and post work.You can view my latest effort here

However, the drawback with dynamic linking seems to be the huge CPU hit.
I’m exploring alternatives, especially the option of using Davinci Resolve Lite for all my CC and final rendering.Has anyone else reading this used a PPro to Davinci Lite workflow and have any tips to share?
I’ve discovered for instance that Resolve is very particular about codecs, (no animation) as well as image formats(no png’s) and also that titles from PPro are not recognized. Also, Resolve doesn’t seem to incorporate sync audio so having to render and resync to your master audio track seems necessary.
