Premiere Titles Ugly When Using Red Text!
I am experiencing a problem with the title creator in prem. pro 1.5. I use white and red text on a black background as the visual style. White text looks OK (not great) but Red text looks ugly & Blocky. Both when i keep it static and when it moves.
Importing a .png with the red text on it as a title roll doesn’t help either.What is it with red text and how can i fix this – soon?

Red is not a ‘safe’ color as it often tends to bleed (as you have observed). It is one of few colors you should avoid. I would reccomend taking a look at this article: https://www.creativecow.net/show.php?page=/articles/hodgetts_philip/titles/index.html

Thanks, i experimented some using techniques from this tutorial and the results improved somewhat, but not much.
When i export as mpeg-2 (.m2v), though, it looks great! Only problem is that mpeg-2 does not allow for After Effects…
