  Premiere stops playing (in program and preview)

  This is getting to be annoying on a daily basis. I have Premiere CS 5.5 with all the updates possible. Every few minutes, I find that Premiere will stop updating the video windows and refuses to play anything. It is at that moment I have to save then watch the application go completely non responsive. I have formatted my machine, reinstalled the apps with no luck.

  I do have a Quadro 5000 and I also have Avid Media Composer 6 installed. I am running Nvidia 8.17.12.7589 as the driver as that is the only one qualified to run in Avid. Yes I use 2 editors.
