Premiere sequence to Final Cut Pro XML not translating over effects.
Footage was shot with Nikon D7000 in 1080p H.264.
Transcoded to ProRes 422.
Edited ProRes footage in FCP7.
Exported as XML file.
Imported into Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.
Applied Warp Stabilizer effect to all footage.
(If this matters, fyi: footage has yet to be rendered for preview.)
Exported as Final Cut Pro XML file.Received this error message in the results report:
Translation issue:
Sequence at 01:00:00:00, video track 1: Effect on Clip not translated.Help?!

What software are you using to open the XML file made by Premiere?

XML files are simply text instructions for an NLE program to create bins/timelines and so on. Warp Stabalizer is an Adobe-specific effect and, as such, has no matching feature that can be represented by an XML file so the resulting effect is stripped.
Best thing to do is to render out that clip with the effect and once the edit is in FCP 7 (as your post would suggest thats what you’re trying to do) you can use a replace edit.

I see. I’d hoped there was a non-render solution as the footage is an hour long… Well, thanks for the help. I’ll go ahead and do that.
