Hi folks. My partner has been trying to install the try-outs of Premiere Pro and Premiere Elements on his new HP Media Center PC. It’s based on a beefy 2.8 GHz Dual Processor Pentium 930 processor, so it should be a good performer. However, the problem is, the darn thing reboots after either version of Premiere opens.

I’ve looked at the Adobe forums and it appears to be a common problem with these latest HP machines. A few tips have been suggested, which we are investigating, but has anyone here had the same problem, and if so, were you able to fix it and how?

    Earl,
Try disabling all background processes and attempt the installation again.

Have a HP multimedia center, AMD Athlon 64, and runs pretty good.
