Premiere Pro Video Renderer and Playback Issues
Hi guys,
Hoping someone can lead me in the right direction with this.
I’m currently working with Premiere Pro v.13.1.5 on a 15-inch early 2013 MacBook Pro, 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7 Processor using MacOS Sierra v.10.12.6.
My graphics card is NVIDIA Geforce GT 650M 1024 MB, Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB.
I have been using Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (Metal), my sequence and footage are set to ProRes422. I some fx on my footage like warp stabilizer and a LUT through Lumetri Color. When I export my edits, I get random flashing of different frames here and there and I can’t seem to troubleshoot the issue. I assume it has something to do with the renderer I’m using, or the way I’m exporting it.
When I export, I tried deselecting “use maximum render quality” and “render at maximum depth”, but I’m still getting frame flashes.
Any suggestions?

At times, “software only” rendering engine is your only salvation. Although a renderer should explicitly follow the instructions to process the data properly (using hardware to accelerate the process when possible) I have often had to accept that some of our machines produce different output results than others. Sad.
