Hi, I’m working on a video project with multiple nested clips that I put afterwards into split screens on my timeline.

But now I need to export my project to davinci resolve to color grade it and I’m not sure what my workflow should be.

Can I export an xml of my timeline as it is with the split screens ? Or do I have to do a timeline with just one track and then do a roundtrip to premiere pro to put them back ?

And for the nested clips, I’m pretty sure Davinci can’t deal with them (maybe i’m wrong), so what do I have to do with them before exporting the xml ? Do I have to export each of them in quicktime files ?

If you could help me with all of my questions, that would be awesome haha.

    Thank you ☺

    Anais

PS : Sorry if my english is not perfect, i’m French.

In Premiere, organize your timeline to one video track with all clips. No multicam clips and no nests.

For nests or speed ramped clips, export a quicktime pro res and replace in your timeline.
