We are running Premiere Pro CC 2019 on a imac pro and are essentially unable to use the program because of constant pop-up errors stating

Runtime error – Undefined is not an object

We are not running any scripts, is there a known solution to this other than reinstall?

    We have already tried that.

Not a Mac user, so cannot speak into that part of it.

If it were me, I’d try rolling back to CC2018. Everything I hear about 2019 is still too buggy for my tastes.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2017.1 (as of 8/2017)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from UHD MP4, HD MP4, and HD P2 MXF.

I recently resolved this at one of my customer’s sites. They had a storage volume named Library. Had to rename the volume and Premiere stopped throwing the error.

I can report same issue; we’ve a shared drive called LIBRARY that makes Premiere error on a new document. Remove the Libraries panels from all workspaces, and update, then it works fine.

I can reproduce the issue using a USB stick on any Mac by naming it LIBRARY.

It’s also stops the AudioNetwork plugin working effectively. You have to choose a static location for all downloads.

I’ve had a response from Adobe who have acknowledged the bug in 2019 and 2020 and told me it’s in with the engineers to fix in a future release.
