Premiere Pro reconnect full resolution media to a proxy edit
I am working with remote editors who are using the proxy files I gave them. The proxy files were not created by Premiere, but an online software Iconik. The project wasn’t set up according to Premiere Pro, where you ingest original files, then make proxies and toggle between them. When I reconnect the original media to proxy files, it doesn’t seem to change the files in the sequence to 4K. Any leads are greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am working with Adobe integrations at iconik.io and the most common issue we see is that there is a mismatch in audio channels in the source material and the proxy.
The proxies we generate in the cloud are made to support web browser playback and for that reason contain 1 track of 2 channel audio.
It is possible to upload a proxy that has the same audio channel mapping as the source file, in a format called PPRO_PROXY,
This format would then be preferred by the panel, and the web playback proxies will not be used.
