Hi. I just got Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 because my computer can’t support CS5.5 or anything above CS4. I posted my problem on another forum and no luck there, maybe you can help.

“Basically, I open Premiere Pro and The purple box shows with a transparent bit where the loaded components bit is meant to be. Then when it opens, the pop up window is transparent and I see the desktop. I then have to move the whole pop-up window off the screen and then bring it back before I can do anything and I have to do this for everything in Premiere pro. Every window and thing. Even the main window. When I click on a preset for the project settings, i have to move the window off screen and then bring it back before I can see what has happened. This is okay but when it comes it editing its literally impossible. Just installed CS4 since that’s all my computer can support. What’s wrong??”

So far I have been advice to reset my Workspace I have done so with no avail. Then I was advised to clean my preferences and it is not OS side or anything, it is just with Premiere Pro. No luck with that. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing happened there either.

For my other forum post, look here – https://www.videoforums.co.uk/adobe-premiere-premiere-elements-after-effects/38096-issue-whole-window.html

What is wrong and please help as I want to use Premiere Pro now instead of Vegas Pro as it has been recommended highly by my friend. Many many many many many many many many many many, thanks in advance!

Tell us about your computer, including operating system, monitor dimensions in pixels, graphics card, and whether you have updated to the most recent drivers for your graphics card.
