Premiere Pro Paused Resolution
Running Premiere Pro CC2014 on a new mac pro outputting through Blackmagic Ultrastudio 4k. When I park on a frame the resolution is bad on the reference monitor. It looks fine on the computer and I have both my playback and paused resolution at Full, but it still does not look good on reference monitor when it is paused. Recently switched from AJA ioxt box which didn’t seem to have this same problem.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated,

does the output of the BMD match your timeline settings? AJA automatically converts a lot of formats that the end user doesn’t realize is happening. BMD is more hands one requiring everything to be set set to perfectly match between the card and timeline for output to be clean.

Checking those settings helped. I had to make sure it forced 1080p and not psf.
