    Hey folks,

I just changed my editing software and went from FCP to Premiere Pro CC 2015.
Starting up the program, creating a new Project, importing files is all fine.
The problem starts when I try to playback a clip or try to drag it onto the timeline. Premiere says something like there is a serious error and it would try to save a copy of the project.
Restarting the computer and reopening the project leads instantly without doing anything to the same result, Premiere is crashing.
I checked different footage from a different camera in a new project, same thing.

This is my system: OS X 10.10.4 on Mac Pro 3,1 – 24GM RAM – Quad-Core Intel Xeon 2,8 GHz – ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT and NVIDIA Quadro 4000
Footage is on an external HD via Firewire 800

I would be very thankful if anyone could give me a hint how to solve the problem.

    Thanks in advance,
    best B.

Try taking out one of your GPUs.

Thanks, Tero, that was a quick solution.
    Very much appreciated!

If you want multiple GPUs I’d get either AMD or Nvidia cards. Using both at the same time might mess up GPU supported programs.

I thought PP CC 2015 required a later version of the OS. Not so?

It even works with os x 10.9 according to Adobe.
    Cheers to NY

[Tero Ahlfors] “Try taking out one of your GPUs.”

That indeed was the solution, but what if I wanted to hook up a third monitor?
I would need a second GPU then. Is it likely that there is no problem when I put in a secondary graphics card from the same type?

Get a single GPU that has multiple outputs.

My machine is too old I am afraid (mac pro 3,1).
There are only very few GPUs supported by both my computer and Adobe CC.
