Premiere Pro Multicam
Posted by Timothy Auld on June 26, 2013 at 11:35 amWhile there are great improvements in PP in general I’m finding the multi cam editing to be problematic and I’m wondering if I am just doing something wrong. As I see it there seems to be no multicip or multi group object as with FC 7 and MC; nothing you can match back to. Anybody know if that is correct? Or am I just dull?

Quick walkthrough of Multicam cc
I’m new to multicam, (another editor usually does them) but beware,
that once you finish an edit, the only way to revise it with
the current version of cc is to edit the cuts by hand.going back to the
multicam mode” to change edits screws up the entire
sequence. It’s a known issue and Adobe is aware of the problem.
Hope they fix that asap. There’s a discussion on Adobe’s own forums about it.

June 26, 2013 at 9:14 pmYa, we lost several hours of work.
trying to salvage what’s left with xml back to CS 6 to get them finished.
Perhaps someone from Adobe could weigh in

June 26, 2013 at 9:26 pmThere is a tedious way to transfer your cut positions over in that thread, that I would recommending looking at. There’s also adobe people saying there will be a bug fix “asap”.
