Premiere Pro major error…stumped!
Please bear with my explanation…I’ve spent about 20 hours trying to get this program to work to no avail…
Overall problem: Eventually, after editing video and trying to export, clips play with a black screen in the timeline. CANNOT successfully edit clips and then export with this happening.
Details:
I import my videos (H.264) and begin editing (I’ve tried numerous different presets).
I’ve managed to successfully export a video of all my clips with no razor edits done.
I’ve successfully managed to export a video of all my clips with a random razor edit in each of the clips.
WHAT HAPPENS EVERY TIME:
I edit my clips in the timeline how I want them and they will play in the timeline with no problem. But, after I export the video, the final product is messed up. The first clip plays properly but then afte the first edit point, the screen goes black while the clip continues. Video will return in otehr clips but the video will have black areas (with audio still playing) throughout.
THen, when I go back to the same project in the timeline, the clips that went to black in the exported video now are black in the timeline.
I can get to return to normal by clicking on each clip and playing them from start to finish in the source window as opposed to the preview window. But thereafter, everytime I close Premiere or try to export, this problem with the clips video disappearing returns.
This happens in every editing preset and export preset I’ve tried.
Please, I’ve put so much time into this and re-installed premiere (very frustrating) multiple times.
Please help.
