Premiere Pro export to DVD
I am shooting Standard Definition DV in “squeeze mode” on a HVX200a (brand new), digitizing the footage in Premiere pro and exporting to encore. I have tried several different ways of exporting to encore either by using the media encoder to transcode or straight into encore itself and having it do the transcoding. I still haven’t yet got desired results of footage that looks useable. Aspect ration problems? Workflow? Encore settings? Media encoder settings? HVX? I am at a loss if anyone has any ideas or insight please let me know. I have tried severall different aspect raios etc… but suspect that I am doing it wrong or even that I shouldn’t be shooting in squeeze mode if I am digitizing to a NLE such as PPCS3.
Any help or insigt is greatly appreciated.-Cliff
