    Hello everyone.

I’m a filmmaker working on a short film (roughly 16 minutes long) attempting to export to a simple format–Vimeo 1080p, @ 23.97fps. However, every time I try to export, it freezes at a random time during the process.

I’m editing on a Mac Tower with these specs:
    2 by 2.4 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon
    32 GB RAM Memory, 1333 MHz DDR3,
ATI Radeon HD 5870 1024 MB Graphics Card.

This isn’t the only export option that it crashes on. Essentially anytime I do a Maximum Render Quality or Frame Blending on any Quicktime option for 1080p, it crashes as well. The only time it works is if the sequence is incredibly short…like less than three minutes. Even then, it struggles.

What is happening with my Premiere Pro software? Or is it hardware related?

I’d bet on hardware related. I had a similar issue once upon a time. It turned out I had some bad RAM which rarely caused a problem but in the intensive process of exporting it would be found and written to without fail.
