  Premiere Pro CS6 crashes on new iMac

  Why might Premiere Pro CS6 be crashing on new iMac Mavericks system? I’ve worked with Final Cut 7 previously on a MacPro and it rarely crashed. This is first project on both the system and PPro – crashed three times in two days while editing two stacked tracks of video. In FCP, I would convert so all footage was uniformly formatted before editing, but Premiere seems to be fine with mixed formats (or am I wrong?):
  • 720p60 mpeg4 (from XDCAM) • 720p60 QT (from DSLR)

  System: iMac, OS 10.9.2, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780
  Media Drive: Thunderbolt RAID 0
  Premiere Pro CS6: 6.0.0
