Premiere Pro CS6 – Audio Mixer
Just downloaded Creative Cloud. Want to automate audio on interview clip. Open mixer and set Track 1 to LATCH. Play clip and move faders on fly. Playback and it reads automation. Slide linked Video/Audio clip several frames and audio automation remains on track but does not remain with clip. What am I doing wrong?

Audio mixer is track based (i.e. keyframes stay fixed in time)Clip keyframing (manual entry – with pen tool for example) is the one you need if you are moving clips about.
Put a feature request in that you be able to control clip envelope from audio mixer, including automation.
