I was really dissappointed with CS 5.5 and Kona 3G support. It’s slow, not very responsive and prone to crashes. Is CS6 any better ??

They haven’t released the drivers yet for CS6. (Getting frustrating…)

Im sure they are busting their butts to get it out as soon as possible but writing code doesnt happen over night. I understand your frustration though.

    Tom –
I know you are a cheerleader for AJA, and I am too. I have used their products for almost 10 years and I think they do great work.

But my expensive monitor has sat dark for weeks now and clients have had to huddle. Sure, I don’t want a buggy release and I know that it is a time-consuming task…sigh. I guess i just want to commiserate. My excitement for CS6 has had to be tempered as everyone else gets to play with their toys…

Well i hope they get it right in CS6 as CS5.5 support for Kona truly suck. I switched to Avid because of this as they nailed it right out of the gate.

Well, in defense of AJA, Adobe made things a bit difficult for 3rd party cards in previous versions – AJA had to jump through some hoops. But, this is something that has been addressed with Transmit in CS6. I am anxious to see if Transmit actually works.

You complain when they are buggy (in CS5.5)…and then you complain when they don’t release them yet because the want to get them right? The ones for BlackMagic are out..and they are buggy. Yeah, you can see things on the monitor, but is it in sync? Is the app rock solid? Nope.

Do you want that? Nothing in sync? Sluggish timelines and playback issues?

I don’t know if it’s just me but the multibridge-extreme has
been pretty solid in CS 6.

a few minor issues yes, but not bad enough I can’t
    have client supervised sessions with.
