Premiere Pro CS6 6.0.2 Mac render & export stops

I’m not using any plugins at all! I was about to purchase some for ease of use, but decided against it at the last minute because PPro hasn’t yet proven it can handle even the basics yet.

I just want something reliable, and not to have these hair splitting moments of whether it will render or not.

I had an Adobe tech person look over my machine as well to ensure it can handle PPro, and he gave it the go ahead. So, my conclusion is there are bugs that need fixing ASAP!

So, what did you do in the end?

I’m having the same problem.

I am working with a giant file, I’ve spent the last two days just trying to get a 30 second zoom out from a single image.

It’s the simplest thing: I’m working with a single psd image. Granted, it’s huge, 26,917 x 15,354 px, 397.6 MB, but that’s the only way that I could figure out how to get a zoom out without starting out with a pixellated image.

After a torturous time editing this beast, I’ve finally got my zoom. I can preview it in Premiere, but when I go to export it it stops at 42%. The estimated time doesn’t change, it just sits at 15 to 18 seconds, and after 10 minutes or so of nothing happening at all, I click cancel and then I get the evil little beach ball.

I’m working with Premiere Pros CS6 on a Late 2012 iMac,
Processor: 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M 512 MB

I need this thing soon, so if any of you have a suggestion that would be great.

same problem here tonight. do a few edits. save. a few more edits. save. a few more….save wont’ finish and so i cancel and get the SBB…4 times now. argh. . . and i’m paying $40 a month for this???
