I got a Blackmagic intensity pro today.
I shoot mainly at 720p @ 24 DVCPROHD, well I go to The Blackmagic presets -> 720p DVCPROHD uh what? only 50fps and 59.94 are options?

so how am I suppose to view and edit my projects. I realize there is a 1080 setting so I could probably upscale them just fine, but I personally like 720p better than 1080.

Also I is it possible to still see your old projects anyway? I have older DVCprohd projects (not blackmagic presets) and some SD projects the dvcprohd will play in the program monitor, but not on the tv. the the SD projects will not play in either, they just show all green on the program monitor

    HELP! please.

    Thanks,
    Jason

Are you limited by your cam to shoot 720p? Makes no sense to me to like 720p more than 1080p.

Edit you 720p24 footage in a 1080p24 BMD timeline should work. In the Premiere Pro preferences you can choose: “default is scale to frame size” just in the general tab. Or right click…

Open your “older” projects in Premiere and than mark everything in the timeline and copy it, make a new BMD sequence which fits your footage and than paste it there.
