Premiere Pro CS5 Start Up Problems
CS5 hangs on initial startup when I click on an existing project. It then freezes, and I have to start over with it, and it wants to recover the project. It does recover, but it is such a pain in the rear.

Hi Joe,
Try creating a new project, then clean the media cache in your preferences. Close Premiere, open your original project, if it’s still slow, you can also purge the render files.
