Premiere Pro CS4 – PLEASE HELP!!!!!
I downloaded the trial version for Premiere Pro CS4 and the audio plays but the video won’t play. I’m using Vista 64 bit system and all the video files I try to use work fine in Windows Movie Maker and used them on earlier releases of Premiere and they worked but will not work on the new computer I got and bought the new computer with Vista so I could run the newest Adobe programs, I pretty much bought it for using the newest Adobe products.
If anyone can help me out that would be fantastic.
Also I’m having a similar problem with AE CS4 except it’s the exact opposite, the video works fine but when I import an audio file it won’t play even when I do a ram preview.
Please help!!! Your help is very appreciated!

It is likely your source video is an Mpeg variant. Trial versions lack Mpeg decoders/encoders due to licensing issues.
It is also likely your silent audio problem is Dolby and Premiere wont play that.

I’m using all avi files.
When I read the section about the trial versions they said everything was supposed to work until the trial period was over.
