Premiere Pro CS4 HDV capture issues
Hello,
Having some fun with HDV capturing.
Originally we captured our footage in DV format and then used that to edit within Premiere. Our edit is now complete and we want to recapture the footage into HDV (so the exported movie looks the best quality).
Now the problems begin.
Premiere does not support scene detect for HD or HDV footage.
Someone mentioned that if we export the current footage to EDL it will allow us to use that as a timeline for in/out points when capturing the HDV footage?
Any ideas here guys?
Once again. Have a premiere project with timeline that has the captured scenes from camera in DV format. Want to recapture scenes in HDV and use the same timeline.
