Major headache having to export to tape in small chunks…

May 5, 2010 at 12:15 amHi Paul,
What deck are you exporting to?
What is the format of your timeline CS5?
Is the problem always happening at a particular point in the export?
Which Blackmagic Design product are you exporting with?
regards

May 5, 2010 at 1:52 amHi Kristian,
It can happen at anytime in the timeline, not consistent with anything at all. Today’s sequence is 4×3 SD. I am using Decklink HD Extreme 3 and just upgraded the drivers to 7.6.2 today but it keeps happening. This has been happening ever since I purchased the product about a year ago.
the deck I am using is a UVW1800. (I also have an Avid that exports flawlessly to this deck so i don’t think the deck is at fault)
Any help you have would be great.
My system is a Dell T7400 with 12GB ram, raid HDDs
cheers

August 19, 2010 at 7:45 pmI am also having a problem with exporting to tape from Premiere CS5. I’m using a Sony DSR-11 deck, which works great on my other system with CS3.
I can capture video and audio with no problem, but when it comes to exporting, it drops out constantly.
I am pulling out hair here, any ideas?
