  Premiere Pro CS3 crashing on render – Mac

  I’m having problems outputting (rendering) movies from various projects and various sequences – the application quits in middle. This occurs on different computers, and with different codecs (“none” and H264). I’ve tried copy-pasting the layers into a new sequence. Tried deleting various layers to look for the “troublemaker”. Anyone have any ideas here?? What should I be looking for?

  Intel iMac(s), 4 GB RAM, Leopard 10.5.5, Premiere Pro CS3 (completely up-to-date version). Loads of hard drive space. No other apps running. Time Machine not running. No other known background processes which may be causing interference.
