premiere pro cs3 crashes when applying effects
Hi
i have recently started using premiere pro CS3 and the program keeps crashing during the application of audio and video effects ( e.g when using intricate audio nodels to adjust sound within a given shot) the windows message comes up ” a serious error has occured, windows must shut down the program”.
Any ideas?My specs: 32 BIT Vista
Ram: 2046mb
AMD athlon 64×2 dual core processor 3800+ 2.00GHzAlso i use a matrox external hard drive to transfer projects back and forth to my editing partner.

It’d quite possibly a RAM issues. Do a ctrl+alt+del go to the task manager and check the system performances while editing.
