I have 3 computers running Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, Video1, Video2, and Video3. Video1 and Video2 work fine, but when I try to view/edit a project created on either Video1 or Video2 using Video3 any MOV files say “Media Off-Line”. It does not matter if it is saved local or on a network drive. The only way I can get it to work is if I remove the MOV file from the bin and re import it. By doing that I lose all my edits I previously made. Any suggestions?

    Hey u don’t worry buddy,

Shall i ask u one thing? when u open project in the video3 u got red screen showing media offline ? (usually i’m receiving this type of msgs)

If yes the u just try this method

select all ur layers in the timeline by Ctrl+A then move fwd a bit
    thats it .

You don’t need to delete the file from the project, just right click it and select relink… find the file and you won’t lose any of the edits you made.

If this file is on an external drive its possible that the drive letter is changing causing the file’s location to be unseen.

Nope, doesn’t work. I’ve moved it all around the time line. I created a new project and put only one MOV in there and it still does the same thing. Seems like anything I try it is not fixing it.

Tried that and it didn’t work. I’ve had several people look at it and no one has been able to fix it. All the video editors and everyone from the system administration team. I’ve tried reinstalling Premiere, Quicktime, and a whole bunch of other codecs.
