  Premiere Pro crashes on opening

  I’m running cs4 and lately I have been having more and more crashes and “premiere pro is not responding” errors. But today, I had a crash and then every time that I tried to restart the application, I get a message that says:

  Premiere Pro has encountered an error. [..\..\Src\ImporterProcessClient.cpp-127]

  I never really had many problems with repeated crashes and errors, but I started a project using all Sony XDCAM HD files, which I never used before. I suspect it may be a computer performance issues, and my machine is going to replace with a newer, more powerful one, but does anyone have any idea why this happens? Thanks.
