Premiere Pro CC: Video goes WAY out of sync on export
Ok, so the actual problem is a little bit more than the title of this thread. Initially, I find that when I export a video from my timeline (using both Premiere and AME), the last 1/4 or so of my 2 1/2 minute video has seemingly random video clips just thrown in. When I look at my timeline, everything seems normal.
However, this is where things get REALLY weird.
If I quit and reopen Premiere Pro, the video at the end of that song on the timeline does what happened in the export. It’s completely the wrong clips. Not only that, but every clip after it starts messing up has little markers at the beginning and end, signifying that they’re all individual source clips and look like they’re the entire length of the source clip (see example).
A couple things about the project: I’m working with Adobe Premiere Pro CC and doing a multicam edit. Everything is synched up in my original timeline that I’m taking the clips from, so that’s not the problem. I’m working on OSX 10.7.5 with a 2 x 2.66 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon processor and 32GB of RAM.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before? I’ve tried emptying the caches, I’ve deleted the part that messed up and re-edited it… I’m completely stumped.

Have you installed the updates to Premiere Pro CC? It launched with a really nasty multicam bug, but that was supposed to have been fixed in 7.0.1 in July.

I believe so, but I’ll double check. I do multicam edits nearly every day and this is the first time in the two months I’ve been using it that this has happened though.

Actually, after checking, it looks like I was still at 7.0.
I’m downloading the update now and will post back to see if that was the solution. I really really hope it is. 🙂

Unfortunately, that project file may now have the bad data saved in it. If that’s the case, maybe one of the autosaves is still ok?

I’m about to export again after updating, but as you say it might not fix it. I’ve exported other parts from the same timeline and they export fine, it’s just this specific part that isn’t working… If this doesn’t work, I’ll probably just have to start it over from scratch…. Obviously, that would be less than desirable.

That did it! All I did was close Premiere, update it, re-edit it (just the last part, again), and it exported correctly!

Thanks for the solution! I already wasted half a day thanks to that bug. Updated and now export is all good.
