    Hi guys,

I’m trying to Project Manage my timeline (Prem Pro CC) to send it out to an online editor to grade but the Project Manager just isn’t trimming the footage and is giving me ridiculously big Project size estimates.

I’m working with HD ProRes LT 25fps progressive footage in a HD 25fps/progressive timeline.

    Any ideas?

Any luck solving this? I’m in a very similar situation (Prores 422 29.97) with a looming deadline.

    I’m afraid not.

    I used the following workaround….

Exported an xml from Prem Pro and using that opened the sequence in DaVinci resolve…
then using a ‘Final Cut Pro XML round trip’ option in the ‘Deliver’ section, rendered the project out at ProRes422 with no grades applied, which effectively creates a media managed version of the ungraded sequence – a new bin of trimmed clips and a new XML file.

    Hope that helps, good luck.

PS. If you happen to find a better solution, please let me know…

Short of waiting for this new update that is eventually coming I think this maybe what I end up doing. Thanks for the heads up!
