    Hi All,
Just started to work in Premiere and can’t seem to export any of our 22min shows in full resolution. The shows are standard 23.976, 1920×1080 Prores HQ and we are running the new Mac Pros (yes it cost me a bunch). It seems to export fine if we change the compression. I’ve tried on 4 machines and used “same as source” and have tried matching the settings in the export que and even tried sending it to media encoder. It seems to always crash about 20% in. This is happening on multiple episode of the same series that don’t share media.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks
    g-

I had this problem briefly with CC and being unable to export h.264
I could export as pro res, then use media encoder to convert it to h.264

as a workaround, can you export it as 10-bit uncompressed quicktime?

also, have you tried disabling openCL and try software mode only?

There is an issue with 10.9.3 if you are running that and openCL.
apple is working on a 10.9.4 update to fix that.

That worked. But wow what a pain. We edit in Prores HQ because we deliver in Prores HQ but we’ll have to export in Uncompressed and convert the final into Prores. Good news is the new mac pros with the new version of compressor can do a 22min show in less then 5 min!

    Thanks!
