Premiere Pro CC does not want to play video when I select my blackmagic ultrastudio sdi as video output. I have installed the latest desktop video drivers and the box is brand new. It also works when I connect it to my laptop but not my iMac. Any ideas of what could be wrong?

Try setting your audio input to line input in your Premiere hardware settings.

Thanks Vince Becquiot the audio Input is set so built-in microphone. The audio plays fine on the timeline but the video freezes pn the first frame when blackmagic video is selected.

Have you selected the correct video device under Preferences – Playback? Is the device enabled? Is Mercury Transmit enabled? Is your timeline set to a resolution/frame rate combination that the I/O device can output/the monitor connected to the I/O can input?

Yes it is. It allows me to select the card. When I hit play I hear the audio playing but the picture is frozen on the frame I’m on and the video doesn’t go through to my monitor.
I think it has something to do with the audio hardware as it warned me when I plugged it in the first time that my audio hardware settings now has to change. But I don’t what to change it to.
