Premiere Pro CC and BlackMagic Mini Monitor – cannot send to broadcast monitor
Hello!
– I’m running OSX on 10.8.5 on an 27″ iMac 3.4 GHZ Intel Core i7, with 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 memory.
– My monitor is a Sony LMD-2050w
– I am using a Black Magic UltraStudio Mini Monitor that goes thunderbolt out of my computer, into the mini monitor, SDI out, then SDI into the Sony Monitor.
– I have tested that the Black Magic Mini Monitor using the Media Express application and have successfully sent video from that platform to the monitor at 1080 60i, as well as 29.98
I’m running Premiere Pro CC, and I am currently unable to send my picture out to my Sony Monitor from Premiere. I have gone to Premiere Pro > Preferences > Playback > BlackMagic Playback (box checked) and still can’t get the picture to show up on the monitor for color grading.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you install the driver after you install premiere?

I have installed it via black magic media express, is it possible that there is a specofoc driver/plugin needed for Premiere?

Also adding that I have the latest updates for Black Magic Converters and Media Express. At this point I am not sure if it is a problem with my Black Magic drivers, or with Premiere itself.
