I’ve seen this all over forums…how do we get Adobe to fix?

My source audio may have 8 channels (P2 card, XDCam, etc.).
I go to lay down audio 1 & 2 (map those channels)…but ALL 8 source channels go to sequence.

Tired of seeing how we should modify audio channels or do anything in advance. You should be able to choose the audio channels you want… not have “extra” audio laid down. Other NLE’s do not operate this way. Why should there have to be a workaround?

Saw this in 2014 forums…and still not a solution?

Both MAC and PC operates this way.

Yep, that is still how PPro operates. Yo use the modify – audio option to control your audio channels before they go to the timeline.

    It isn’t THAT awful. JMHO.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2017.1 (as of 8/2017)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from UHD MP4, HD MP4, and HD P2 MXF.
