I am having problems with Premiere Pro and Tricaster files. Tricaster is a live recording system from NewTec. You can record and switch 3 cameras and other imputs and edit on this system. It produces an avi file that several users use editing software like PPro to edit further if needed. I can’t get my PPro 1.0 to recognize the avi file or the NewTec codec. The avi file will load on the timeline but will crash the system 2 minutes into rendering. Someone suggested that I download the 2.0 trial version, but it does the same thing. NewTec techs tell me that I need to modify Premiere Pro and Encore to recognize the codec through the device manager but I don’t know how to do that. Any suggestions?

    Thanks
