From all these comments it looks like the future does not look great for Premiere Pro Production Premium CS5.5. They did not even bother any of the suggestions on the suggestions page.
How many things were taken out, we will eventually know.

Beg to disagree: it only looks so for people who already purchased CS5 and for whom the value of the updates and new features does not justify the price. Quite a few CS5 owners will sit this update out – but not all of them.
