• Adobe Premiere Pro

  Premiere Pro and Encore says no audio drivers installed and can’t continue to run. On Blackmagic Extreme.

  Hello,

  I spoke to Ron Lindeboom this morning about the Blackmagic Decklink Extreme. I posted on the Blackmagic forum but as Blackmagic are closed for the weekend now I was wondering if anyone else would know what the problem could be? Ron suggested I ask in Adobe Premiere pro forum as more Premiere users.

  I have a Microsoft Windows XP Pro workstation with Blackmagic Decklink Extreme with Supermicro PS4SCT+2. It does not have any internal sound. the whole PC is workomg fine. I installed Adobe Premiere Pro and Encore DVD.

  When I launch Adobe Premeire Pro or Adobe Encore DVD, I get a prompt windows saying There are no audio drivers installed so the application can not continue.

  If I go to Control Panel and sounds/Multimedia in XP PRO I can’t see Decklink listed for Sound playback etc.

  Does this mean that I have to put in a audio card into the pc? Can I not use Decklink on xp for sound? The problem is I do not have any spare PCI slots on the Motherboard as I have used them all now.

  Does anyone know what I can do to run those 2 Adobe applications with sound drivers from Decklink Extreme?
